Description
Performance Exhaust System. The AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Exhaust System; Side Exit enhances exhaust flow and performance for diesel trucks. It is designed to increase horsepower and torque while lowering exhaust gas temperatures, optimizing engine efficiency. This exhaust system also ensures a precise fit and durability under rigorous operating conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This system is crafted from 5-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, offering strength and corrosion resistance. It features a smooth finish and uses OE-style high-quality flange and band clamps for a leak-free seal. The smooth transition bends in the tubing promote low turbulence for improved flow.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using all factory mounting locations, providing a stable and hassle-free fit without the need for drilling. OE-style bayonet hangers securely maintain the exhaust's position even under high vibration and heat.
Application. Designed for 2011-2016 6.6L Duramax Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD models. Does not fit 2016 3500HD trucks equipped with a NOX sensor.
