Description
Fuel System Upgrade. The AFE DFS780 Fuel System; Boost Activated is engineered to optimize diesel fuel delivery by engaging only under boost pressure. This approach improves fuel efficiency and reduces wear on the fuel pump, ensuring reliable performance during high-demand conditions without operating at full capacity constantly. This design extends component life while maintaining optimal power output.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a billet 6061-T6 aluminum manifold featuring contoured CNC machining to enhance flow and eliminate porosity issues common in cast aluminum manifolds. It includes a clear high-impact polycarbonate sight glass for easy visual fuel inspection, a marine-grade motor safeguarded against dust and water, and O.E. quality Viton seals compatible with both diesel and biodiesel fuels. The helical bronze spur gears operate quietly while providing long-lasting durability.
Installation. Installation is simple and typically takes about 2 hours. The system uses a plug-and-play harness that connects directly to the battery with weather-proof Deutsch connectors, requiring no cutting or modifications to the factory fuel lines. This allows for easy removal and reversion to the stock configuration if desired.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 07-10 6.6L Duramax Silverado 2500 HD models.
