You can add the extra power you crave by simply installing an Advanced Flow Engineering (AFE) Momentum GT Pro Dry S Cold Air Intake. The Momentum GT Cold Air Intake replaces the restrictive stock air box and paper filter element with a one-piece air box and a free flowing Pro Dry S filter assembly. This Intake will improve the airflow path into your Sierra's engine creating more usable power and better fuel economy.
No Tune Required. This AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your Sierra without the need of reprogramming its computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs this AFE Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
Pro Dry S Air Filter. The included Pro Dry S Air Filter is engineered to effectively filter out minuscule power robbing particulates while maintaining excellent air flow. This AFE Air Filter features 3-layers of progressively finer synthetic media to ensure superior filtration and outstanding engine protection without the use of messy oils. The soft polyurethane frame is pliable allowing it to seal tightly to the air box. Best of all the Pro Dry S Air Filter is re-usable, just wash, dry and re-use.
Unique One-Piece Air Box. This AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake features a custom CAD designed one-piece roto-molded air intake housing to increase airflow. Utilizing the factory cold air ducting, this Momentum GT air box outflows the factory intake by an impressive 10%. One of the cooler features of the Momentum GT air box is the clear plexiglass window. This window not only adds eye catching appeal, but makes it easy to check your filters condition with just a glance.
Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake this AFE Momentum GT Cold Air Intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
Not CARB Certified. This AFE Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; not intended for highway use.
