      Description

      Critical Fuel System Protection. This direct-fit filter captures dirt, rust, and water before they reach the high-pressure injection pump and injectors, extending component life and ensuring reliable engine performance. The built-in water separator collects moisture that can corrode internal fuel system parts.

      Built for Heavy-Duty Diesel Demands. Encased in a robust steel housing with epoxy finish, the filter endures harsh under-vehicle conditions and resists corrosion. The Donaldson filter media provides high dirt-holding capacity, and the integrated drain valve simplifies water removal.

      Installation. Depressurize the fuel system, remove the old filter cartridge, install the AFE Donaldson element in the DFS780 housing, hand-tighten the housing, prime the fuel system, and check for leaks.

      Application. The AFE Donaldson Fuel Filter for DFS780 Fuel System fits 2005–2010 RAM 2500 models equipped with 5.9L or 6.7L diesel engines.
