Description

The AFE ATLAS 5-Inch DPF-Back Single Exhaust System; Side Exit is engineered to improve the exhaust flow of diesel engines, promoting increased horsepower and torque while lowering exhaust gas temperatures. This system replaces the factory DPF-back section, enhancing overall engine efficiency and performance with a straightforward installation process.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 5-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing, this exhaust system offers excellent resistance to corrosion and heat. It features OE-style flange and band clamps for a complete 360-degree leak-free seal, along with OE-style bayonet hangers designed to maintain pipe stability during vibration and heat exposure.
Installation. Installation is simple and uses existing factory mounting points to provide a secure fit without the need for drilling or modification, making it suitable for both professional and experienced amateur installers.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2007-2012 Dodge RAM 2500 equipped with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engine, ensuring precise compatibility with the OEM exhaust layout and mounting points.
