You will get everything you could have hoped for in improved air flow, vastly upgraded torque and horsepower, and a whole host of increased throttle response and acceleration.
You Won't Need a Handheld Tuner. Tuners can considered important for specialists and enthusiasts in peak optimal performance. Everyone else can get away without it just fine.
Corrosive-Resistant. The 5-layer Pro 5R air filter included in this kit is designed to take in all possible intrusions.
All Power, All the Time. The construction hangs on a weighty and formidable One-Piece Housing Unit with an Optional Urethane Plug. You will seal out all heat to keep the efficiency nicely streamlined.
Single Day Project. Obvious and tested instructions will walk you right through the installation, from the very beginning set-up to the final "click."

50 CARB Status. The product is nationwide street legal with CARB EO Number: D-550-13, but it excludes trucks that do not have the accompanying electrical fan model.
Application. Install this Black aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake on your 2009 6.0L GMC Sierra 1500's equipped with either an electric or mechanical fan. It is not compatible on 6.0L Hybrid models.
