Description

Designed for tough recovery and off-road applications, this winch helps users safely extract their Silverado HD or Sierra HD equipped with the AEV stamped-steel front bumper from challenging situations. It features advanced controls and synthetic rope for enhanced safety and performance.
Construction and Appearance. The winch features a compact design with a hardened steel three-stage planetary gear train that ensures efficient operation and durability. It includes a thermal protection switch on the heavy-duty series wound motor to prevent overheating. The synthetic rope is coated to resist abrasion and water absorption. The sealed contactor housing with silver-alloy contact pads and thick copper buss bars provides excellent weather resistance, all housed within a robust structure designed for severe duty.
Installation. Installing the winch requires the AEV Winch Installation Kit and fits securely on the provided stamped-steel front bumper. Installation is designed to be straightforward when using the appropriate installation kit.
Application. This winch is specifically designed to fit and function on 2024-2026 Silverado 2500 HD models equipped with the AEV stamped-steel front bumper, and is also compatible with Silverado HD and Sierra HD models with the same bumper setup.
