      Description

      Speedometer Calibration Module. The AEV ProCal SNAP is a simple, cost-effective device designed to accurately recalibrate the speedometer of Ram HD trucks after modifications such as larger tire installation or axle gear ratio changes. It interfaces through the OBDII port and uses the vehicle’s audio system equalizer for adjustments, making the process straightforward and user-friendly. This is especially important to maintain accurate vehicle speed readings and TPMS functionality when deviating from stock configurations.

      Construction and Appearance. The module is manufactured in the USA with high-quality components ensuring reliable performance and durability. It includes a programming harness for easy connection and is designed to seamlessly integrate with the factory systems without requiring additional visual modifications or intrusive hardware changes.

      Installation. Installation is rated as easy and typically takes about one hour, requiring no drilling or complex tools. The ProCal SNAP connects via the vehicle's OBDII diagnostic port and interfaces through the factory audio head unit.

      Application. Designed specifically for 2019 to 2024 Ram HD 2500 models and compatible with 3500, 4500, and 5500 variants from those years. It does not support 2025 models and requires the use of the factory head unit to function properly.
