Description
Premium Intercooler Protection. The AEV Intercooler Skid Plate safeguards both the intercooler and electronic sway bar disconnect system from potential damage during off-road driving. It is engineered to preserve critical airflow, enhancing durability and providing peace of mind for 2014+ HD Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks when tackling challenging terrain.
Construction and Appearance. Built from 1" DOM steel tubing arranged in a vertical six-bar design, this skid plate offers a balance of strong protection and optimal airflow. It is finished with proprietary coatings that ensure long-lasting corrosion resistance and a visually complementary appearance that protects vital vehicle components.
Installation. Installation is simple and can be performed in about one hour with the AEV front bumper already installed. No drilling is required, making it an accessible upgrade for most users.
Application. This skid plate fits 2014+ HD Ram 2500 and 3500 diesel trucks equipped with the AEV Premium Front Bumper. It is not compatible with 4500/5500 models, OE bumpers, or other aftermarket bumpers. Ram 3500 owners who do not have the compatibility beam must purchase an additional hardware kit for proper installation.
