This mechanical locking differential ensures power is distributed fully to both wheels while allowing normal turning functionality, crucial for serious off-road applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made using durable 8620 steel internals, the differential carrier features a patented design with stronger inner clutch teeth that have a larger radius base. This innovative engineering significantly increases strength and durability, helping to prevent breakage from shock loads and catastrophic axle failure. The unit is assembled in the USA, reflecting high manufacturing standards.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge and careful handling. The unit is designed to fit directly into Dana 60 assemblies equipped with 40 spline axles and compatible gear ratios. No drilling is required.
