      Description

      Torque and Traction. Freedom to take on the most challenging, high torque situations in your 2007-2018 Sierra – and win – is what the Yukon Gear Duragrip 30-Spline 8.5-inch & 8.6-inch Posi Rear Differential is all about, and this tough high quality component is built to deliver. The Duragrip Differential uses extremely robust internal gears to stand up fully and repeatedly to heavy torque forces. Featuring Yukon's trademark precision manufacture and grinding, this component works very smoothly and has the powerful lock-up ability that ensures torque is fed to the tire that currently has the most traction. The Duragrip is also made to be rebuildable, so you can save by repairing worn parts rather than replacing the entire unit.

      Built Powerful. The Yukon Duragrip 30-spline Rear Differential is assembled in the USA and features internal gears fabricated from 4320 steel, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel that is strong, tough, and used for heavy-duty machinery. Made for use with 30-spline axles, this component includes side gears preloaded with springs, which improves traction for both axles regardless of current torque levels. This rebuildable differential is covered by a 1 year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

      Application. The Yukon Gear Duragrip 30-Spline 8.5-inch & 8.6-inch Posi Rear Differential can be used with all 2007-2018 Sierras that have 8.5" or 8.6" axles.

      Technical Note. Some 2007 and newer vehicles may need to have material removed from the backside of the case to clear the housing. It is recommended to use high grade GL-5 gear oil and Yukon LSD (Limited Slip Differential) additive for long life and smooth operation. Part number OILADD. The use of synthetic oil is allowed but may result in aggressive or noisy operation. This unit requires use of carrier bearing & race part numbers LM102949 & LM102911.
