      Description

      Exceptional Overall Braking Performance. Experience an improved ground dynamics and bolder driving confidence by equipping your Sierra 1500 with the Wilwood TC6R Black Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors. This front brake kit provides your truck the superior braking power necessary to control the higher rotating weight of your ultra-sized wheels and tires.

      Multi-Piston Caliper. The Wilwood TC6R calipers are made of premium-grade, billet aluminum alloy, manufactured with high precision to ensure lightness and rigidity. Moreover, these are equipped with 6 pistons that provide reliable clamping strength on both sides of the rotors for an enhanced bite. Furthermore, the calipers are reinforced with a heat-resistant and corrosion-proof, black powder-coated finish.

      Heavy-Duty, Vented, Slotted Rotors. This rotor system is a product of Wilwood’s quality metallurgy and engineering that guarantees maximum heat dissipation and optimum brake torque. The 2-piece discs are made of high-quality, Spec-37 iron alloy and are particularly designed with linear grooves carved into the face of the rotors. These features prevent gas build-up and provide exits for water and debris, thereby continually cleaning the pad surfaces. In addition, the vents run around the rotor edge for additional cooling and brake fade-resistance. These rotors also come with black electro-coated hats that display a fierce, rust-resistant finish.

      Durable Brake Pads. Wilwood TC6R Brake Kit uses high-friction BP-10 compound brake pads for optimal braking power. These pads are also highly wear-resistant and can withstand extreme braking conditions. Additionally, the brake pad set has a noise-eliminating, anti-rattle feature and is designed for quick and easy pad changes.

      Bolt-On Installation. The TC6R Front Big Brake Kit is designed to be a direct fit upgrade for your Sierra’s front brake system. It can be installed using basic hand tools with no modifications required.

      Front Brake Upgrade Kit. Wilwood’s TC6R Front Brake Kit includes 6-piston front calipers, a pair of 16-inch 2-piece GT 60 curved vane front rotors, BP-10 front brake pads, braided stainless steel Flexlines, mounting brackets, and all the hardware required for installation.

      Application. The Wilwood TC6R Black Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors is intended for use on all 1999-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 models.

      Application Note. This Wilwood TC6R Front Big Brake Kit requires the use of 20-inch or larger wheels for proper fitment.
