If you are using your 2002-2018 Dodge RAM 1500 truck like a truck and hauling stuff, adding a HD Headache Rack to the head of the bed makes a lot of sense, especially if you are hauling heavy cargo. In the event of accident or abrupt emergency stopping, you need to know that your cargo isn't going to come through your rear window. The top of the rack can be used for mounting auxiliary lighting, too.
Slatted Design. The design of this rack has a louvered look so that visibility isn't entirely obstructed, plus the bars provide convenient storage for tools and equipment. They also provide shade to the cab, as well as rugged styling.
High-Quality Construction. A heavy-duty headache rack is only as good as the materials that go into it, and it has to be strong enough to protect you if your cargo shifts forward. This rack is made from high-quality, heavy-duty commercial-grade steel. The welding is also heavy duty. The rack is designed to work with a tool box up to 70 in. wide.
Some Drilling Required to Install. In order for this rack to be protective, it has to be firmly attached to the bed of the truck, which will require some basic drilling. All the parts you need to mount this rack are included in the kit.
3-Year Limited Warranty. This headache rack features a 3-year limited warranty against failure due to manufacturing or materials when installed correctly and used properly.
