      Description

This closed cold air intake streamlines the air path and maximizes air volume. This results in up to 18 horsepower increase, 40 feet per pounds of torque, and even bolstered MPG. This intake is perfect for truck owners looking to improve power and performance of their Sierra 1500.

      Donaldson PowerCore® Filter. This Volant cold air intake utilizes the Donaldson Powercore® filtration technology with ultra web nanofiber. Thanks to this fully enclosed filtration system, submicron contaminants load on the surface instead of collecting in the depth of the filter. This helps increase efficiency and performance on your aftermarket air intake system. The material of this filter media doesn’t easily deteriorate, and it is water-resistant. Thus, you can enjoy a steady airflow and performance. PowerCore Filters improve filtration up to 99.97% and are maintenance-free for up to 150,000 miles on the road, perfect for off-road travels.

      Premium Build. The Volant cold air intake comes in a black plastic housing. It features premium-grade silicone hoses that create airtight connections, and provide excellent strength and flexibility while resisting drying and cracking. The stainless steel marine-grade clamps can stand up to engine heat and the elements. Each cold air intake also comes with neoprene gaskets and automotive-grade nuts and bolts that hold up to a lifetime of use.

      Hi-Flow Velocity Air Box. The closed air box of this air intake kit completely insulates the air filter from engine heat via the large air duct, making sure only cold air reaches your engine. This allows for quicker throttle response, improved acceleration, and better fuel economy.

      Bolt-On Installation. This cold air intake kit is engineered to be an easy bolt-on installation. Volant recommends the installation be performed by someone with some mechanical skill. Please take time to read and understand these installation instructions before beginning the installation.

      1-Year Limited Warranty. Volant offers a limited one-year warranty on all intake parts. For PowerCore filters and Volant Performance air intake products, the manufacturer provides a 4-year or 100,000-mile warranty. For more details, please contact Volant directly.
