Installation Instructions

Start out by laying out the three pieces that make up the grille overlay kit and pre-fit them to see what order they will need to be installed (bottom, middle, and top grille). Although the middle and top sections may look very similar, they will fit slightly different.

1. Slide the flat U nuts over the brackets aligning the holes together as shown below.

2. Feed the screws through the holes in front of the grille sections (2 holes per section) and pre-thread them into the U nuts attached to the brackets. Make sure the bent ends of the brackets are angled towards the grille.

3. Starting with the bottom section, slide the grille overlay into the bottom opening of the grille and tighten screws while holding the brackets in a vertical position. You will need a second screwdriver to hold the brackets in a vertical position while tightening the screws. At this time only tighten screws up just enough to hold the grille in place.

4. Check the alignment of the grille section and make sure it is centered in the opening. If everything appears to be aligned correctly, tighten the screws down until the billet grille is making contact with the vertical pieces on the factory grille and not able to move. Do not overtighten.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the middle and top sections of the grille making sure they are aligned before tightening.

6. Step back and enjoy your new T-Rex billet grille
