Description
Heat and Noise Reduction. The Thermo-Tec Cool-It Mat, 24-inch x 50-foot, serves as a robust barrier against excessive heat and intrusive noise in various vehicle compartments. Construction and Appearance. This mat combines a resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation sandwiched between two layers of foil facing, including a Foil Skrim Kraft (FSK) vapor barrier. The silica material is dual-density, optimizing sound absorption, while the reflective foil surfaces provide radiant heat deflection. The mat is approximately one-half inch thick, featuring a clean, metallic foil finish that facilitates both functionality and neat appearance.
