Description

Built to deliver better stability and control, the Teraflex Falcon Sport Leveling System improves the quality of your ride, whether on the street or on rough terrain. Ideal for daily driven vehicles, these shocks are compact, and are sold at an affordable price. The system takes advantage of Zone Rate Tuning (ZRT) and Volume Optimized Damping (VOD) to create a truly comfortable and adaptive ride experience for your Dodge RAM.
Zone Rate Tuning. By manipulating the factory linear-rate spring tuning to produce 3 distinct performance zones -- the Extension Zone, the Drive Zone, and the Compression Zone -- the Teraflex Falcon Sport Leveling System is well-equipped for shock absorption under all sorts of driving circumstances. In the Extension Zone, an internal negative-rate spring offsets the factory spring’s preload, allowing for softer tire landing and reduced body roll on impact when driving aggressively. The Drive Zone leaves the factory spring rate untouched. Lastly, the Compression Zone greatly reduces bottoming and body roll when driving aggressively, using a progressive microcellular bump stop to retune the spring rate.
Volume Optimized Damping. Unlike conventional damping, Falcon’s proprietary damping system features a digressive linear valve. It produces quicker ramp up for increased damping volume, better vehicle feedback, and control during low-speed driving, and reduced bottoming out over rough drives.
Sturdy Construction. The Teraflex Falcon Sport Leveling System features an induction-hardened shaft plated with chrome to protect against rock damage and corrosion. The shocks are encased in 2.25” 6061-T6 aluminum alloy bodies, allowing them to resist corrosion and dissipate heat efficiently.The shocks also use Red Line full synthetic oil with a high viscosity index of 519; this ensures consistent performance across temperatures and reduces wear and shock fade.
Installation. The Teraflex Falcon Sport Leveling System comes with all the necessary hardware for a smooth installation. It should not take longer than four hours to install the system on your Dodge RAM.
