Description
Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Synergy Manufacturing HD Steering Kit with Dual Steering Stabilizer Brackets is a comprehensive bolt-on steering system designed to dramatically enhance steering precision and durability for your Ram truck. It replaces the factory Y-style geometry with a modern T-style setup, eliminating excessive toe changes and bump steer issues often found in crossover conversions. This kit is ideal for daily drivers, heavy haulers, and off-road enthusiasts seeking improved control and reliability.
Construction and Appearance. Built in the USA, this kit features a precision bent drag link crafted from 1.5" x .250" DOM steel and a heat-treated 4130 chromoly tie rod formed from 1.5" x .188" tubing. Components are fully welded and sealed with forged pinch bolt housings and finished with a two-stage abrasion-resistant powder coat for superior corrosion resistance. The metal-on-metal tie rod ends incorporate 4140 and 1018 steel elements with heavy-duty rubber boots, grease fittings, and retaining springs for long-lasting performance and easy maintenance.
Installation. This steering kit offers 100% bolt-on installation using basic hand tools, requiring no drilling or reaming. The fully adjustable double adjuster sleeve and pinch bolt assembly facilitate easy alignment and precise setup.
Application. Designed specifically for 03-12 4WD RAM 3500 trucks, including compatible 4x4 Cab and Chassis models within the same generation. Note that the 2013 model year is a split production year; early models feature T-style steering geometry compatible with this kit, whereas late 2013 models use crossover steering and require a different part number. This kit is not compatible with 4500 or 5500 model trucks.
