Description
Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. It improves precision and responsiveness while enduring extreme loads, making it ideal for heavy-duty and demanding driving conditions. This tie rod provides a reliable, long-lasting steering component tailored specifically for these platforms.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from USA-made 1.75" x 0.188" wall DOM tubing and heat-treated 4130 chromoly, this tie rod offers superior strength and fatigue resistance. Its metal-on-metal tie rod ends feature a 4140 steel shank and 1018 steel bearing housing, sealed with a nitrile-butadiene rubber boot and retaining spring for excellent durability. The assembly is protected by a two-stage abrasion-resistant powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and long life.
Installation. Designed for a straightforward bolt-in installation without drilling or modifications, this tie rod requires only basic hand tools. Easy adjustment is enabled via a double adjuster sleeve and pinch bolt assembly, allowing a precise fit with minimal effort.
Application. Fits 11-26 4WD F-350 Super Duty. This tie rod is compatible with the under knuckle configuration and is recommended to be used with its corresponding heavy-duty drag link and dual steering stabilizer for optimum performance.
