Description

Tackle this challenge with a Smittybilt 7/8 in. 6.5 Ton D-Ring Shackle with Locking Pin. With a 6.5-ton maximum tow load, it’s the perfect partner for all types of recovery scenarios. It’s got enough strength to recover heavy vehicles with a full load and it’s compatible with other recovery gears such as a winch rope and a tow strap.
Quick Release Shackle. The Smittybilt 7/8 in. 6.5 Ton D-Ring Shackle has a unique quick-release feature. It allows the shackle pin to simply slide off instead unscrewing. A separate locking pin slides into place, securing the shackle pin to the towing point. The locking pin has a lanyard attached to the shackle to keep you from losing it when not in use.
Heavy-Duty Steel Body. The Smittybilt D-Ring Shackle is forged from premium-grade steel. It’s engineered to handle heavy loads and bursts of force, typical in a recovery rigging. The steel surfaces are protected with a black powder coating to prevent rust and corrosion from compromising the steel’s integrity.
For Use with Other Recovery Gears. What’s great about the Smittybilt 7/8 in. 6.5 Ton D-Ring Shackle is its quick release feature. It saves valuable time when you need to set up the recovery rigging quickly. Use the shackles with other recovery gear such as tree straps, recovery tow straps, and winch ropes.
