It features a quick-release locking pin that’s different from the traditional screw-in pin. This makes it even quicker and easy to use.
Heavy-Duty Steel Shackles. The Smittybilt 4.75 Ton D-Ring Shackle with Locking Pin has a forged steel body. It’s designed to withstand the heavy loads and sudden forces generated by recoveries. Every steel surface of the shackle parts is coated with zinc, which protects it from harmful rust and corrosion. This means you won’t be replacing these shackles as often.
Straightforward Installation. For a great looking off-road bumper, simply install two Smittybilt 4.75 Ton D-Ring Shackles on the D-ring mounts. The pin simply slips through the shackle and tow point while the locking pin secures the shackle pin in place. Keep a spare D-ring in your recovery kit for winching and towing from the rear.
