Description
High-Temperature Heat Protection. The Pipe Shield; 6-Inch x 12-Inch; Stainless Steel is designed to provide effective heat shielding for exhaust pipes and other components exposed to intense radiant heat. It helps prevent burns and protects wiring, hoses, and nearby parts from heat damage, while improving driving comfort by reducing radiant heat inside the cabin.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 304 stainless steel, this pipe shield features a curved shape to fit a wide range of pipe sizes. It contains two layers of stainless steel enclosing high-temperature insulating material capable of withstanding up to 2000°F. Welded seams enhance strength and durability, while 1/2-inch stainless steel standoffs create an air gap for improved insulation. The shield is extremely lightweight and has a polished metal finish.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling. The pipe shield mounts securely using the included stainless steel hose clamps and can be flexibly shaped around pipes for a snug fit.
