Description
High-Performance Heat Protection. The Heat Sheath GOLD; 2.25-Inch x 36-Inch is designed to protect critical lines, hoses, and wires from extreme heat and abrasion. It reflects radiant heat up to 800°F, helping to keep components cooler and more durable in harsh automotive environments.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This sleeving is constructed from a high-temperature gold metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a heat-treated 20 oz glass fiber base. It is reinforced with aramid thread for superior heat resistance and abrasion durability, finished in a metallic gold appearance for both function and durability.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling — simply unhook the line or hose, cut the Heat Sheath GOLD to the desired length, slide it on, and reattach the component securely.
