It provides a reliable barrier that maintains the flexibility and integrity of components even in high-temperature environments, helping to extend service life and enhance safety.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-temperature glass fiber fabric weighing 19 oz, the Heat Shroud features an aluminized finish that reflects radiant heat up to 2000°F. The fabric is heat-treated for durability and reinforced with aramid thread to provide superior abrasion resistance and flame retardance. The exterior has a metallic, durable aluminum surface.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. This product offers quick and easy installation with no tools or line removal necessary. It uses a hook-and-loop closure system allowing it to be wrapped tightly around existing lines, hoses, or cables and securely fastened.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Designed to fit hose and line sizes with an adjustable diameter from 0.5 to 2.5 inches, specifically compatible with 12 AN line inside diameter. Note that it should not be applied directly to exhaust components and may require some adaptation for universal fitment.
