It is applied by wrapping headers and down pipes to reduce unwanted heat, which results in cooler air intake and improved engine efficiency, as well as maintaining hotter exhaust gases to lower their density and increase flow.

Construction and Appearance. This exhaust wrap is made from tightly woven black glass fiber material, purpose-built to endure high temperatures up to 1200°F direct and 2000°F radiant. Its texture is durable with embedded installation guide lines to facilitate professional and precise application. The black finish may fade over time without affecting essential thermal properties.

Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling, but care should be taken to avoid wrapping flex joints and catalytic converters. Stainless steel locking ties are recommended for securing the wrap, ensuring a clean, secure, and long-lasting fitment.

Application. Fits universally though some adaptation may be required depending on the exhaust system configuration. This wrap is not recommended for titanium exhaust pipes due to the risk of heat retention causing premature metal fatigue.
