Description
EXHAUST HEAT PROTECTION. The Titanium Knit Exhaust Sleeve, measuring 4 inches by 12 inches, is designed to shield exhaust components from extreme heat while reducing heat transfer to surrounding areas, including vehicle cabins. It expands to fit over larger exhaust pipes, flanges, and sensor threads, offering versatile heat management. This sleeve helps maintain performance and protects nearby parts under high-temperature conditions.
_x000D__x000D_CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Made from knitted titanium, the sleeve withstands a maximum temperature of 1800°F and has a continuous rating of 1382°F. The material’s high thermal resistance and flexibility allow expansion up to 1.5 times its normal diameter. Its textured finish enhances durability and facilitates installation over exhaust components.
_x000D__x000D_INSTALLATION. Installation is simple: cut the sleeve to the desired length and roll the ends for a secure fit. No drilling is required. The product includes two stainless steel locking ties and a locking tie tool to ensure proper attachment.
