High-Temperature Protection. The Protect-A-Boot and Wire Kit for 4-cylinder engines is designed to safeguard spark plug boots and wires from the damaging effects of excessive engine and header heat. This kit prevents boot burns, cracking, and premature wear to maintain ignition system reliability and performance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high temperature resistant fiberglass material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000°F, the boots feature double-wall construction with a sewn-in metal ring for secure fitment. The sleeving and boots are finished in blue and paired with heat shrink tubes to ensure a water-tight seal and a clean, professional appearance under the hood.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling or complex tools. The kit contains all necessary components to customize the fit, making it suitable for a range of spark plug boot styles and wire sizes up to 8mm.
