Thermal Protection Solution. The Heat Shroud GOLD, sized 0.50-Inch to 1.25-Inch x 36-Inch, is engineered to shield lines, hoses, and wiring from heat and abrasion without needing to disconnect them. It reflects radiant heat and preserves flexibility, providing essential protection in demanding automotive environments.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This product features a durable 20 oz heat-treated glass fiber base laminated with a high-temperature gold metalized polyimide. Reinforced with aramid thread, it offers superior abrasion resistance and flame retardancy. The finish presents a metallic gold appearance that reflects heat up to 800°F.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with a convenient hook-and-loop closure that eliminates the need for tools or disassembly of lines and hoses. It fits over components easily and can be cut to the required length for a custom fit.
