Heat Shield Protection. The Heat Sheath GOLD™ - 1" x 36" is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from heat and abrasion damage commonly encountered in demanding automotive environments. It reflects harmful radiant heat, helping to keep these components cool and flexible, thereby extending their lifespan and maintaining system performance.
Construction and Appearance. This heat sheath is constructed from high temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a sturdy 20oz heat treated glass fiber base.
