      Construction and Appearance. This shield features a proprietary high temperature black coating on embossed 10 mil aluminum bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core. Its flexible black finish resists cracking when shaped normally, and the backing employs a high-temperature, pressure-sensitive adhesive for a strong, lasting bond.
