GMC Sierra Onboard Air

Trail air availability expands through GMC Sierra Onboard Air systems mounted throughout truck beds for adventures. Tank capacity determines runtime while regulator settings control output pressure for inflating tires and powering air tools during trail use.

Tank size determines how much air you can store before running compressor again during weekend trail rides. Viair compressors are reliable but noisy while cheaper options might fail leaving you stranded with flat tires in rough terrain.

Onboard air systems provide compressed air for adventures and they fit into broader GMC Sierra Exterior builds you're planning for your Sierra. You can check out GMC Sierra Lifestyle for branded merchandise, or upgrade GMC Sierra Lights for visibility improvements.

GMC Sierra Onboard Air

Unleashing a blast of sound from powerful air horns, filling a set of large tires after they no longer need to be aired down, powering pneumatic tools – all are possible when you outfit your GMC Sierra with aftermarket 1999-2017 onboard air. The 1999-2017 onboard air systems you’ll find on AmericanTrucks include high performance, modern air compressors with lots of useful features – delivering 2-3 cubic feet of air per minute in many cases, and supplied with long rubber hoses, pressure gauges, reusable air filters, and so on. There are also 1999-2017 onboard air systems with horns, which feature components that help with the installation and operation of air horns, train horns, and similar sound upgrades. These include such items as long-range remote controls letting you activate the air horns from hundreds of feet distant, as well as valve upgrade kits to deliver more air to multiple-trumpet horns.
