Description
Heavy-Duty Air Ride Hitch. The Shocker Hitch HD Air 2.50-Inch Receiver Hitch Combo Ball Mount; 1/2 to 4-1/2-Inch Drop is designed to provide smooth and safe towing by incorporating a built-in heavy-duty air spring. It cushions road shock and absorbs jerks, making it ideal for towing trailers, farm equipment, and other heavy loads while reducing wear on both vehicle and cargo.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with 3/8-inch thick carbon steel side plates and a 1-inch diameter carbon steel pivot bolt, the hitch features a durable powder coat finish with a red textured surface for impact resistance. Dual urethane bump cushions and a greaseable pivot point enhance longevity and performance for rugged use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling; the hitch fits into standard 2", 2-1/2", or 3" receiver tubes with included adjustment pins. The clevis pin mount is adjustable with eight holes, allowing customization for trailer drop or rise settings.
