This 10,000 lb air ride receiver hitch for a 2-inch receiver with raised ball mount and 2-5/16-inch ball provides a superior towing experience by using a built-in air spring to absorb road shocks, resulting in a smoother and safer ride. It helps reduce jerks, tugs, thumps, and trailer sway commonly experienced on rough highways, enhancing control and comfort for pickup trucks and trailers.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured with heavy-duty, rust-resistant aluminum, the hitch features thick 3/8-inch 5052 aluminum side plates and a durable silver textured powder coat finish. The design incorporates a greaseable 1-inch diameter 1045 carbon steel pivot bolt and dual urethane bump cushions to ensure long-lasting and effective shock absorption.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. The hitch slides into any standard 2-inch receiver tube and secures with included hitch pins and cotter clips. Multiple ball mount options allow easy adjustment to achieve proper trailer height and alignment.
Application. Fits most vehicles equipped with standard 2-inch receiver hitch mounts, including full size pickups, midsize pickups, vans, and select SUVs with under-bumper receivers. Some adaptation may be required to match specific vehicle setups. This product is not compatible with weight distribution hitch systems.
