      Description

      Rear Frame Reinforcement Kit. The Rust Buster Trailing Arm Frame Repair Kit is engineered to restore and strengthen the rear frame section of your RAM 1500 where the trailing arms attach. It replaces corroded or weakened metal around the rear trailing arm mounts and includes upper and lower control arm mounts, Class 10.9 hardware, and a cable bracket for a complete repair. Ideal for trucks with frame rust or damage, this kit helps restore suspension geometry and safe handling.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from a combination of 7-gauge and 11-gauge high-strength steel, the kit is CAD-designed for a precise OE fit. It features perforations for optional retention of bed and shock mounts and is shipped with a protective oil coating to guard against corrosion before installation. The raw steel surface is compatible with Rust Buster’s rust converter paint (RB9917 recommended) for added protection after installation.

      Installation. Installation is moderately difficult and requires welding. While no drilling is necessary, proper fitment and secure welds are essential for restoring structural integrity and maintaining correct suspension function.
