The first thing you'll notice when you take the Romik RB2-B Rear Assist Hitch Step out of the box and hold it in your hand is the amazing craftsmanship that went into making it. It's sculpted with the highest-grade extruded aluminum and finished with black powder coat, made to last for years to come. The shape and color will only enhance the rugged look of your truck.
Safety First. After attaching the RB2-B Rear Assist Hitch Step, loading and unloading your truck will be easy and safe. It is rated to take loads as heavy as 450 pounds. The grooves and rough surface will ensure that you don’t slip while standing on it. With a width of 5.5 inches, you will be able to stand comfortably on it as well.
Warranty. The RB2-B is covered by a one-year limited warranty. The warranty covers any defects or issues with the build and craftsmanship of the step for the first year. For those of you who own trucks with backup sensors, you may want to consider a pre-fit before installing this step. This is for the simple reason that it may hamper them from working properly.
Application. The Romik RB2-B Rear Assist Hitch Step can be fitted on all 1999-2024 Sierra 1500 models.
