Bike Carrier Solution. The RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack Solo carries 1 bike as a versatile and lightweight option for transporting bicycles securely. Designed to secure the bike by the front wheel with no frame contact, it offers protection while allowing compatibility with a wide range of tire sizes and wheelbases. Its folding and tilting features facilitate easy vehicle access without removing the rack.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed for durability and ease of use, the rack is made using high-quality materials with a robust finish. The design is focused on weight reduction with a total rack weight of 25 lbs, offering a textured surface that balances durability with aesthetic appeal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. The package includes everything needed for mounting such as locking hitch bolts, adapter sleeves for both 1.25” and 2” hitches, and an anti-wobble bolt to ensure a stable fit.
Warranty. The product comes with a manufacturer's limited warranty covering defects and workmanship.
Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation required, specifically noting the need for an 8" hitch extension on some cargo vans to ensure handlebar clearance. It is not suitable for fender-equipped bicycles or Class I hitch receivers.
