Description
Purpose and Functionality. The ReadyLIFT 1.50-Inch Rear Add-A-Leaf Kit is designed to be inserted into the existing rear spring pack of Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks. It adds an additional 1.5 inches of lift to the rear suspension, helping to restore or increase vehicle height and improve rear-end stiffness. This is particularly beneficial for payload-carrying and towing applications that require enhanced rear suspension support.
Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy duty steel, the add-a-leaf kit features the same durable construction as the factory rear springs. Its robust design ensures reliable performance and longevity under demanding driving conditions while maintaining suspension integrity.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and recommended to be performed by a certified mechanic. No drilling is necessary. However, vehicle alignment may be required after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked and adjusted as needed. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) may also require re-calibration by the OEM dealer to ensure proper functionality.
Application. This kit is specifically designed to fit 2007 through 2018 Sierra 1500 trucks, excluding 2014 through 2018 Denali models.
