Construction and Appearance. Built with an 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, it features a robust tri-tube steel body filled with all-weather fluid to maintain consistent performance in temperatures from -40 to 248°F. The shock is finished with a premium liquid metallic paint and equipped with a polyvinyl protective boot for extended durability and a sleek appearance.
Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and does not involve drilling. The shock includes mounting hardware designed for straightforward bolt-on replacement, making the upgrade process practical for experienced DIYers or professional installers.
Warranty. This shock comes with a limited lifetime warranty, providing long-term reliability and peace of mind.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 1999 to 2006 4WD Sierra 1500 models with a 5 to 6-inch front lift. This shock is intended for use until depletion, after which the RS994057 model should be utilized.
