Built with a corrosion-resistant 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod and a durable 1.25-inch sintered iron piston, this shock features a tri-tube body filled with all-weather fluid for reliable operation across a wide temperature range (-40 to 248°F). The silver metallic finish and polyvinyl boot provide long-lasting protection against harsh environments.
Installation. This shock absorber installs using the included mounting hardware, typically requiring no drilling. It fits factory mounting points, allowing professionals and experienced enthusiasts a straightforward installation process.
Warranty. Covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty for extended product assurance.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 03-08 4WD RAM 1500 models as an OE position front shock with 2.0 to 3.0 inches front lift height without the off-road package. It is recommended to replace with RS994221 once this shock is depleted.
