Construction and Appearance. The shield has a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8 inch composite glass-fiber core with a non-adhesive backing. The aluminum surface offers improved heat reflection, increased rigidity, and lightweight thermal insulation. The panel's 3/16 inch thickness allows for shaping and trimming to achieve a custom fit with minimal clearance.

Installation. Installation is simple, requiring no drilling; the shield can be cut and fitted to desired locations. For optimal performance, the aluminum side must face the heat source to maximize heat reflection and protection.
