This heat shield features a rugged embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core, finished with a proprietary high temperature black coating for durability and aesthetics. The flexible surface allows for easy shaping, trimming, and installation.
Installation. Installation is simplified with an aggressive peel-and-stick adhesive backing, eliminating the need for drilling or additional fasteners. The adhesive remains reliable despite exposure to wind, water, and temperature changes, maintaining a strong bond.
