Custom Tow Bar Base Plate. The Custom Tow Bar Base Plate offers a secure and reliable attachment point for dinghy towing select Ram 3500 models from 2003 through 2018. Designed to ensure an easy and safe towing experience, it distributes towing forces evenly to reduce stress on the vehicle frame and provides a tailored fit.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from welded carbon steel for strength and durability, this base plate features a high-gloss black powder coat finish combined with a co-cured rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out to protect against corrosion.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with twist-lock tabs that allow for easy mounting and removal without complicated steps or drilling, making it convenient for both professional and DIY installers.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. The base plate is covered by a limited lifetime warranty, including one year for the finish and one year for parts.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Specifically designed for use with 2003 through 2018 Ram 3500 models, this base plate is not compatible with universal tow bars and must be used with compatible, vehicle-specific towing equipment.
