Unlike standard locking gas caps that come with pre-coded lock cylinders, this component uses a cylinder that you have encoded by a locksmith to a key of your choice. This reduces the number of keys you have to carry on your key fob. Additionally, this gas cap comes with a tether that keeps it secured on your fuel filler, preventing it from being lost. Most importantly, this component’s OE design ensures a precise fit to prevent gasoline fumes from leaking and causing fires.

      Brawny Build Quality. This gas cap is constructed from brawny, automotive-grade plastic that’s highly resistant to deterioration due to chemicals. This cap is then precision-molded to exact specifications providing an accurate, leak-free fit when installed. Meanwhile, the included lock cylinder is machine-formed from high-grade alloy for durability. Lastly, this component features a standard black color, giving your vehicle an OEM look.

      Light Install Procedure. This locking cap is designed to replace your RAM’s factory counterpart without the need for modifications. Moreover, installation is done completely by hand.
