The chrome finish meets a rigorous 44-hour copper-accelerated acetic acid salt spray (CASS) test to maintain a brilliant and lasting appearance, while the black finish offers impact and scratch resistance. End stanchions are made from either robust die-cast zinc alloy for the chrome version or reinforced injection-molded Nylon 66 for the black version, ensuring strength and durability under load.

Installation. These rails are designed for straightforward bolt-on installation, mounting directly into the vehicle’s factory stake pockets using the included vehicle-specific hardware. Most installations require no drilling; however, drilling may be necessary if the stake pocket holes are not present, enabling a secure and precise fit without complex modifications.
