Description
Enhanced Transmission Cooling. The PPE Transmission Fluid Thermal Bypass Valve improves the cooling efficiency of the GM 8L90 8-speed transmission by maximizing fluid flow to and from the transmission cooler. It replaces the restrictive OEM valve that can fail and lead to overheating, particularly under demanding driving conditions such as towing and stop-and-go traffic.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from precision-machined billet aluminum, this valve offers durability and corrosion resistance. It includes a service plug with a Neodymium magnet and O-ring seal that captures ferrous debris, helping maintain the transmission system.
