      Battery Heat Shield Protection. The PPE Top Post Battery Heat Shield; Black provides essential protection by insulating and reflecting heat away from the battery. This product helps extend battery life and ensure reliable performance by minimizing the effects of engine bay heat. It is designed to fit over top terminal batteries to safeguard them in demanding thermal environments.

      Construction and Appearance. The heat shield features a non-conductive, heat-reflective outer layer combined with a padded, insulated liner that completely surrounds the battery. Heavy-duty stitching reinforces the shield for long-lasting durability, while wide hook-and-loop fastening panels provide a secure and adjustable fit. The finish is sleek and professionally crafted for a clean engine bay appearance.

      Installation. Installation is simple and requires no drilling, utilizing hook-and-loop fasteners for a snug and secure attachment. The design allows quick removal and reinstallation for easy battery maintenance.

      Warranty. This product comes with a one-year limited warranty for peace of mind.

      Application. Designed to fit 2007.5 through 2023 GM Duramax LMM, LML, and L5P engines, this heat shield accommodates various battery group sizes specified by circumference. The universal fitment allows some adaptation depending on battery configuration.
