This kit is designed to boost your daily driven truck’s stopping power, making it ideal for all your towing jobs. Additionally, this front brake rotor and pad kit’s improved performance is more than capable of handling the added weight of larger wheel and tire combos. This enables you to run those larger tires you’ve always wanted.
Durable Cast Iron Rotors. This kit’s front brake rotors are crafted from high-quality steel using a specialized casting process for exceptional durability. The resulting rotor blanks are then precision machined and mill balanced, eliminating vibrations and ensuring smooth braking. These rotors are finally plated in wear-resistant silver zinc for extreme corrosion resistance and awesome looks.
Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotor Style. These front brake rotors also feature beveled cross-drillings and rounded milled slots, which greatly improve braking. The cross-drilled holes are designed to efficiently cool down the rotors, helping prevent fade. The slots for their part help maintain maximum contact between the brake pads and rotor face by sweeping away debris, gases, and moisture for consistent performance in any weather.
Cutting Edge Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. The included brake pads utilize a cutting-edge carbon-fiber-reinforced ceramic friction compound. This material offers exceptional resistance to heat, enabling it to maintain maximum friction over longer periods of time. This also means you get consistent stopping power even through repetitive braking cycles.
Minimal Dust and Noise. Not only do the pads offer superior braking, but they also produce minimal dust so you spend less time cleaning your wheels. Moreover, the pads utilize an OE-style chamfered and slotted design. When combined with their dual-layer rubberized shims, you get a set of pads that provide reduced braking noise.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This brake rotor and pad kit mounts onto your RAM using factory locations. No modifications to your vehicle are necessary. Installation is also completed with just standard hand tools, as well as a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid and high-temperature brake pad lubricant.
