With ceramic-compound brake pads and vented rotors, you get a no-frills brake kit that offers superior braking performance. This rear brake kit is ideal for daily driving and less aggressive styles, with equal focus on both performance and comfort.
High-Quality Cast Iron Rotor Construction. PowerStop chose premium-quality cast iron in constructing these brake rotors to guarantee their solid, durable structure. As a final touch, both the outer surfaces and the insides of the rotors are finished with a coat of GEOMET®. This stylish silvery coating helps prevent rust and corrosion, and thus extends the lifespan of the rotors.
Vented Vane Design. These Evolution series brake rotors are designed with OE-style vented vanes. This leads to faster and improved heat dissipation, which in turn increases braking power. Moreover, better heat dissipation ensures consistent performance even in high-heat conditions.
Ceramic Brake Pad Compound. The brake pads that come with this brake kit are made from a ceramic compound. They are tested on-vehicle by third-party groups to make sure that they deliver on the promised improvements braking performance. Meanwhile, rubberized shims help insulate against high temperatures and braking noises.
Less Dust and Noise Output. These brake pads have a low dust output, which can help you keep your truck’s wheels and tires looking like new. Moreover, less brake dust means a more powerful “bite.” The above-mentioned rubberized shims, on the other hand, eliminate annoying brake noises.
Direct-Fit Replacements or Upgrades. You can use this rear brake kit either as an upgrade for your existing kit or a replacement for damaged or worn parts. Complete installation can be accomplished within a couple of hours. Afterward, follow the break-in procedure indicated in the manual.
