Second, the rounded slots give your rotor a kind of self-cleaning mechanism, allowing brake dust and other debris to be carried away from the caliper and pad, providing a consistently fresh surface for your pad to hold on to. Finally, the Silver Zinc Dichromate plating protects your rear rotors from rust and corrosion for years to come.
And a Looker, Too? As mentioned, the zinc plating provides great weather and wear and tear resistance, but it's also a great accent behind any open wheel design.
Fits Like a Glove. These rotors are precision-machined to fit your Sierra 1500 like no other rotor out there, to within tens of thousandths of a millimeter.
Installation. Installing these rotors requires the disassembly of your brakes and the ability to put them back together. It should take about four hours. If you can't do this, please have this kit installed professionally.
