This lock assembly ensures that your items in your truck bed are safe from potential theft. Moreover, the tailgate lock works well with your existing keyless remote system for a hassle-free operation. An optional switch kit is also included for trucks without power locks.
Reliable Protection. To ensure the quality and reliable operation of the lock assembly, Pace Edwards designed this PowerGate Tailgate Lock with a stainless steel backing plate and a slide bolt with nylon guide block. It reuses the tailgate stock handle and integrates the switch with your existing keyless remote. This lock also works best with truck bed cover, lid, or topper for a more secure functionality.
Bolt-On Installation. This PowerGate Tailgate Lock installs using a plug-and-go wiring harness that easily wires into your existing power door lock system. The installation process takes approximately an hour with light mechanical and electrical skills.
